In order to equip the workers with the necessary skills in emergency response, the fifty-six (56) newly-hired responders and personnel are currently undertaking the 5-day Basic Life Support and Mass Casualty Incident Management Training from July 8-12, 2019 at the Social Hall of the People’s Government Center.

Said volunteers are detailed at the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) under the dynamic supervision of Civil Defense Officer II, Marie Jane P. Mansalay, EnP and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Mayor Judy Chin Amante strongly supports programs that ensures the safety and welfare of victims of accidents, calamities and disasters therefore the City must have a well-equipped manpower that could effectively respond when the need arises.
