Planting at Brgy. Calibunan, Cabadbaran City, led by CDRRMO Cabadbaran City Head, Ms. Marie Jane P. Mansalay together with the facilitators and office staffs.This activity is a big help to
protect coastlines from waves and to shield inland areas during storms and minimize damage.

As part of the event, participants of the Super Batang Kalasag 2019
needs to undergo a specific stationing in disaster risk reduction and management related activities to be prepared in case of any incidents or disasters that may possibly happen. This also aims to enhance their capability of being a public servant.

September 12, 2019, Day 1 of the Super Batang Kalasag 2019. The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office will spearhead the conduct of Super Batang kalasag – DRRM Youth Camp Training on September 12-13, 2019 together with Cabadbaran City Mayor Judy Chin Amante and National Agencies including PNP and BFP representatives. The said event is to be participated by the Supreme Student Government (SSG) Officers of the different schools of the City. This Aims to capacitate young leaders of the City in responding to any untoward incidents and disasters.
